Now in its second year, Endangered Data Week (EDW) takes place February 26 through March 2, 2018, at campuses and institutions around the world. The initiative’s goal is to build upon prior work in digital preservation and coordinate annual international events to raise awareness about threatened data.
Sarah V. Melton
Sarah V. Melton, PhD, is the head of digital scholarship at Boston College Libraries. Her team explores and documents new tools and supports teaching and research in a variety of areas that utilize broad methodologies. She is an organizer for Endangered Data Week and creates resources for data advocacy and education. Sarah received her PhD from Emory University’s Graduate Institute of the Liberal Arts.
